I am a lecturer, musicologist, and forensic musicology consultant whose work bridges academia, media, and the music industry.

I produce expert musical analysis for legal and commercial projects, lecture at the University of Oxford, and co-write BBC Radio’s weekly Midnight Musicology segment.

My research investigates the formal, cultural, and social structures of music, with a focus on aesthetics and popular music.
